Who we are
London Design (“we”, “us”) is a web design, development and digital marketing agency based at Berkeley Square House, Berkeley Square, London W1J 6BD, United Kingdom. What personal data we collect and why
- Enquiry and contact forms. If you send us a message or request a quote, we receive the details you type in (for example your name, email address, phone number, company and message). We use them to reply to you and to prepare a proposal. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking steps at your request before a contract.
- Email and phone. If you email or call us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and for our business records.
- Analytics (only with your consent). With your permission we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, how you arrived). We use this to improve the website. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Technical logs. Our web server records standard technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested, date and time) for security and to keep the site running. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
- Comments. If comments are enabled and you leave one, we store your name, email address, IP address and the comment.
Cookies and similar technologies
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept or reject analytics. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom left of the site.

Until you accept, Google Analytics runs in Google Consent Mode with all storage denied: it does not set analytics cookies and only receives anonymous, cookieless signals that it uses for aggregate modelling. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies on this site.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We use service providers who process data on our behalf: our web hosting provider, Google (analytics and search tools) and our email provider. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep data
Enquiries and related correspondence: up to 24 months after the last contact, unless we start working together, in which case we keep project and invoicing records for the period required by law (normally 6 years). Analytics data: 14 months. Server logs: 30 days.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights contact us at info@london-design.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
